On December 27, according to DLNews, Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge was suspected of concealing millions of dollars in staking rewards in his acrimonious divorce from his ex-wife Elisa Rossi. Rossi filed a lawsuit in California State Court seeking withheld staking rewards. The two were married for nearly a decade, during which they accumulated a lot of wealth, mainly from Akridge's founding role in Solana Labs. According to the lawsuit, Rossi claimed that the divorce process was long and controversial. As part of the divorce agreement, she was entitled to part of the proceeds from the SOL tokens, but Akridge did not give her the staking rewards, causing her to lose millions of dollars. After learning that Akridge had concealed these staking rewards, Rossi contacted him several times to request a return, but was met with an indifferent response.
