Brief Overview of Bitcoin's Decline and Altcoin Drop
Bitcoin fell back to the $100,000 range after failing to return above $96,000.
On Thursday evening, stock market futures declined, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures down 41 points, a drop of 0.1%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures both fell about 0.1%. Earlier in Thursday's trading session, the market was already weak, with the Dow Jones 30 index slightly up, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indices remained nearly flat.
Due to feedback from social media users regarding abnormal TradingView Bitcoin dominance charts, Bitcoin dropped to $95,000, decreasing its share in the total cryptocurrency market cap by 0%.
The altcoin market also fell yesterday, with Ethereum crashing after three consecutive days of gains. Bulls could not hold the significant $3,500 level and were impacted by strong selling pressure, evaporating over 4% on the day and returning to the $3,375 range.
