The number of initial jobless claims in the United States unexpectedly decreased!

The latest data is out! As of December 21, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States for the week was only 219,000, lower than the expected 224,000 and the previous value of 220,000!
Additionally, the four-week average also slightly increased, reaching 226,500, while the previous value was 225,500.
Looking at the number of continuing jobless claims, as of the week ending December 14, the number was 1.91 million, slightly higher than the expected 1.88 million, but the previous value has been revised from 1.874 million to 1.864 million.
