The Brazilian Cryptoeconomics Association (ABcripto) has announced the launch of the Virtual Asset Specialist Certification (CEAV). The initiative aims to qualify professionals to meet the growing demand of the cryptoasset market in Brazil.

The program is aimed at areas such as technology, compliance, law, auditing, as well as students interested in the sector, providing a strategic differential in an expanding market.

The CEAV ABcripto Certification is a milestone in the training of specialists, to promote quality education, prepare for technological and regulatory challenges, and drive the adoption of good practices, said Bernardo Srur, CEO of ABcripto.

ABCripto content includes fundamentals and regulation

The certification covers essential concepts of the crypto economy, organized into three main modules: fundamentals, business and regulation. The content includes, for example, topics such as blockchain, smart contracts, tokenization, national and international regulations, risk analysis and compliance.

To participate in the selection process, you must pay a fee of R$199 and answer 30 multiple-choice questions. In addition, you must have a score of at least 70%. In other words, you must answer at least 21 questions correctly to pass.

Those who achieve 50% (15 questions) are entitled to a second attempt at no additional cost. In fact, ABCripto members have a 50% discount on the registration fee.

ABCripto certification exams to take place in January 2025

The exams are scheduled to begin on January 20, 2025. Candidates will be notified of their preliminary results immediately after completing the exam. Those who pass will then be added to a public list of certified professionals, available on the program's official website.

CEAV is an essential initiative to foster the sustainable development of the cryptoeconomy. Through this certification, professionals have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, adapt to market demands and raise standards of excellence in the sector, highlights ABcripto's director of education and research, Fábio Moraes.
