PANews reported on December 24 that HIVE Digital Technologies has announced an investment of $30 million to procure and deploy NVIDIA H100 and H200 GPU clusters to support the rapidly growing demand for artificial intelligence. These high-performance computing (HPC) clusters will be deployed in Quebec, Canada, and will be powered entirely by renewable energy.
Deployment Details:
• H100 Cluster: Contains 248 GPUs, expected to be launched by the end of 2024, with an estimated annual revenue of about $15 million.
• H200 Cluster: Contains 508 GPUs, installation expected to be completed in Q1 2025, officially launched in Q2 2025, with annual revenue expected to exceed $20 million.
