The way to fund AI Agents by issuing assets is really interesting! Initially, I thought that combining AI Agents with blockchain could achieve autonomous asset management, autonomous intention trading, and seamless cross-chain trading, but we are clearly still far from this vision. However, the emergence of aipool for pre-sales, preventing exit scams, and avoiding MEV is also an upgrade to the current DeFi experience? Without mentioning the distant future, let's talk about the immediate benefits at hand:
1) The overall implementation of aipool's project is not complicated. Users send SOL (non-CA address) to the AI Agent's wallet address, which generates private keys in the TEE environment and pre-sets access permission management for the Pool. When certain conditions are met, the AI will automatically create liquidity pools on-chain DEX and distribute tokens to eligible participants, with collected transaction fees aggregating to the AI wallet;
2) The entire process is no different from the previously popular KOL funding Fi, except that this round of funding FI is AI Agent-driven, with AI Agents autonomously controlling private key addresses (impossible to run away), autonomously creating trading pools (setting whitelists, unlocking funds in batches, establishing initial prices, using oracle pricing, etc.) to reduce the impact of MEV arbitrage.
How to enable AI Agents to autonomously generate private keys? AI-Pool used Phala Network's TEE technology solution, and the general process is:
1. Generate private keys in a Secure Enclave; the private key will not leave the TEE environment, and all signing operations are completed within the TEE;
2. TEE can define a verifiable set of interactive communication rules, enabling remote authentication, transaction verification, and real-time status monitoring. This means that the decentralized consensus of the chain (smart contracts, transparency, traceability) can manage and schedule assets within the TEE. Phala Contract can run in the TEE environment for offline computing and interact with external chains to achieve multi-chain interoperability;
Although Phala Network's performance in the last wave of AI narratives was not particularly eye-catching, to be fair, Phala's AI Agent solution, which integrates TEE for secure asset custody and combines decentralized chain consensus governance with smart contract scheduling and AI runtime environment, has been adopted by the massive new business IP ai16z. Just imagine the possibilities that open up.
3) The inclusion of AI Agents in 'trading characteristics' has always been something the market anticipated, but it is already rare for current AI Agents to automate the execution of some pre-programmed logic without errors. We are still far from achieving stages like autonomously discovering trading opportunities, making independent decisions, and autonomously managing stop-loss and take-profit. This requires a lot of support at the level of distributed chain consensus:
For example, is it possible to have a decentralized oracle that provides real-time accurate pricing? Is there a set of DA data availability solutions adapted for AI Agents? Is there a decentralized governance verification scheme? Is there a Solver Marketplace that can handle large-scale multi-scenario intention trading, etc.?
Since the workflow of AI Agents inevitably involves calling off-chain APIs like GPT4, this set of chains adapted for AI Agents must simultaneously address the integration of off-chain and on-chain issues. This makes sense; the old chain infrastructure also needs to integrate off-chain to seek new growth opportunities. The new narrative of AI Agents will accelerate the integration of the on-chain and off-chain worlds.
However, I would like to say that AI Agent + Chain is still a vast ocean within the current wave of AI narrative goals, and the current level of AI Agent autonomy is still far from being sufficient.
However, focusing on the present, it would already be a significant achievement for AI Agents to seize 'asset custody rights' from a large number of habitual criminals who issue scam coins and commit rug pulls. So, what about a full-blown AI Agent PumpFun? An open-source enhanced version of a Virtual open platform? A new DeFi market specifically serving AI Agents will also be refreshed in sync? ... Let's control our imagination.
In summary, I’ll light the fuse; as for how many novel and interesting things will emerge from AI Agent + DeFi, AI Agent funding Fi, and AI Agent integration with chains, let's let the market's upcoming 'explosion' serve as proof.
