The company stated in a blog post: 'Sports event trading is a derivatives trading feature regulated by the CFTC and can be used on the Crypto.com app and website. It provides you with a direct 'yes/no' decision based on whether you believe the outcome of the sports event will occur.' Earlier this year, Crypto.com expanded its market share in the U.S. With the addition of the new sports event trading platform, Crypto.com seems intent on leveraging the growing popularity of prediction platforms to help boost retail activity.
