Experts will soon be looking for a Dogecoin ETF
There are many opinions from industry experts about the possibility of launching a Dogecoin ETF (DOGE) in the near future. After the success of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in 2024, this trend has opened up opportunities for Dogecoin. Interest in the DOGE ETF has increased as asset managers have begun to apply for other ETFs, and Dogecoin is now considered a potential candidate.
Nate Geraci, President of ETF Store, commented that under the new administration, regulatory clarity regarding cryptocurrencies could favor Dogecoin. Eric Balchunas, an ETF analyst at Bloomberg, also expressed optimism about the possibility of bringing Dogecoin into the mainstream investment asset list through an ETF, emphasizing that "things that seem funny today can be become a reality tomorrow".
Despite high expectations, the DOGE ETF also faces many challenges, especially on the legal front since the meme nature of Dogecoin can make it difficult to attract institutional investors. Still, with support from influential individuals in the industry, it is likely that Dogecoin will continue to retain its status in the crypto community and could become an ETF product in the near future.
