Famous Analyst Reveals Interesting Truth About Dogecoin, Bloomberg Analyst Announces DOGE ETF Launch Date
After Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were approved, applications for ETFs for altcoins like XRP and Solana (SOL) are also emerging, while analysts suggest these ETFs could be approved by 2025 under the Donald Trump administration.
At this time, while Trump is expected to take office as president, ETF Store President Nate Geraci revealed an interesting scenario regarding Dogecoin (DOGE).
Pointing out that so far no fund manager has applied to the SEC for a spot Dogecoin ETF, Geraci expressed curiosity about who would be the first to file for DOGE. In response to this post, Bloomberg's senior ETF analyst, Eric Balchunas, stated that the Dogecoin ETF application would be awaited after President-elect Donald Trump takes office.
The analyst added that Trump's inauguration would set a precedent for fund managers to apply for a spot Dogecoin ETF. Ultimately, Balchunas declared that the appointment of Paul Atkins as SEC chairman would significantly increase the chances of cryptocurrency ETFs being approved.
"I agree. I think someone will apply for a Dogecoin ETF by Christmas. But for now, we can wait until Atkins and Trump take office."
