Bend Road One: Confusion. Wanting to make money from everything, not wanting to miss out on any trend; in the early stages of trading, being very firm on the method, which is the trend trading approach; but seeing so many varieties, gold, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, stock indices, USD/JPY, ... trends rising and falling, feeling like there are opportunities and money everywhere; and then the timeframes, from one minute to four hours; what timeframe to use? How many varieties to trade? These are all very confusing; there are always so many opportunities, finally realizing that very few belong to oneself, finally determining the timeframe and varieties, with various attempts taking two years; fortunately, I found a suitable timeframe and varieties for myself.

Bend Road Two: Greed. Pursuing a hundred percent high win rate; in the seventh year of trading.

Years later, I finally managed to achieve consistent profits. However, a new problem arose, which is that there are often long trends where positions are held for one or two weeks, ultimately earning a few points; although stable, it is frustratingly slow, feeling like a waste of a significant trend that could have been profitable; then I wanted to optimize the method, and subsequently added too many rules, complicating what was originally a simple trade; overall profits turned into consecutive losses; later realizing that excessive optimization is a dead end, it took another two years; now I have returned to a simple approach + strict execution.

Bend Road Three: Impulsiveness. Often influenced by instincts and emotions, lacking patience, and letting instincts control impulsive operations. Only seeing the local, only seeing the details, getting caught up in the details of the trend, being led back and forth by the candlesticks; just moments ago I was in a long position, and suddenly I close the position and reverse to a short position, and then in a while it reverses back to a long position; these many small losses add up to become significant losses; although I realized early on that I needed to be rational, it still took me at least three or four years to gradually achieve rational trading. I believe this is the biggest issue for most beginners, which is the inability to stay calm. When your mind gets hot, that's when losses begin.

Bend Road Four: Misunderstanding. Starting with the correct trading system but misunderstanding key rules within it; what's scary is that these mistakes lead to sometimes winning and sometimes losing in the market! As a result, trading performance is always unstable. Two years ago, I began to doubt whether I misunderstood the rules of the trend trading system, and only after careful consideration multiple times was I able to correct it. It's terrifying here; one wrong rule kept me in chronic losses for five years.
