Company Ripple received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) for the issuance of the RLUSD stablecoin, pegged to the US dollar, in early December 2024. 

The launch of RLUSD took place on December 17, 2024, and its listing on major cryptocurrency exchanges and among partners is expected soon. 

This event may strengthen XRP's position in the market and attract new investors.
