France’s financial markets regulator, the AMF, has granted Hexarq, the cryptocurrency subsidiary of French bank BPCE, a crypto asset service provider (CASP) authorization. With this approval, Hexarq will be able to offer services such as crypto custody, trading, and crypto trading against the euro. Hexarq, which will be integrated into BPCE’s two main banking networks, plans to offer crypto investment services in 2025. With 35 million customers, BPCE’s move could be a significant step in the industry. What do you think about this development? We’re waiting for your comments.
