According to Techub News, according to Decrypt, analysts at private bank Coutts revealed that Coinbase's trading revenue has now surpassed the world's two largest stock exchanges. In the past 12 months, the cryptocurrency exchange's trading revenue was US$5.75 billion, while Nasdaq's trading revenue was only US$4.54 billion. Coinbase also surpassed the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), which generated US$2.67 billion in revenue in the past year, and the Brazilian Stock Exchange (Bolsa Balcão), which generated US$1.81 billion in revenue.
Mouloukou Sanoh, CEO of MANSA Finance, BASE’s liquidity provider, noted that while Coinbase’s trading revenue exceeds many of the world’s largest exchanges, its trading volume lags behind Nasdaq.
