The scenario I see as most likely is that when altcoins go up and make profits for investors, most of them will be convinced to sell their coins. Then, altcoins will continue to go up significantly, which will prompt most investors to buy back at higher prices than they sold them at. Then, the market maker will do the real selling in a smart way. Currently, there is no selling, just market manipulation.
