According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on December 19, data from HODL15Capital shows that cryptocurrency mining company Hut 8 holds 10,096 bitcoins, surpassing Tesla (9,720 bitcoins) to become the fourth largest publicly traded company holding bitcoins globally. The top three holding institutions are MicroStrategy (439,000 bitcoins), Marathon Digital (44,394 bitcoins), and Riot Platforms (17,429 bitcoins).
Data shows that the top 60 publicly traded companies holding bitcoins globally hold a total of 585,487 bitcoins. Among the top ten holding institutions, seven are from the United States. Chinese companies Cango and Nano Labs hold 364 and 360 bitcoins respectively, ranking 31st and 32nd.
