According to ChainCatcher, Gravity announced that it will upgrade from LayerZero to Chainlink CCIP as its standardized cross-chain infrastructure during the launch of its Layer-1 blockchain, enhancing the security and programmability of Gravity.
Key update highlights are as follows:
Gravity’s native token G will become a cross-chain native asset (CCT), providing developers with self-service deployment, zero-slippage transfers, and greater programmability while maintaining CCIP’s high security standards.
Chainlink CCIP, relying on its decentralized oracle network, will greatly enhance the ability of Gravity Network developers to build secure cross-chain applications.
CCIP supports programmable cross-chain messaging and token transfers, and will provide developers with the necessary tools to build cross-chain applications.
