PANews reported on December 19 that Sahara AI announced the official launch of the Beta version testnet for the first phase of its data platform. This event attracted over 780,000 users to sign up, and ultimately, more than 10,000 users will successfully qualify for participation. Through the Sahara AI testnet, ordinary users can not only contribute to the AI ecosystem through data collection, optimization, and annotation tasks but also participate in building the world's first decentralized AI collaboration platform while earning rewards.

The launch of the testnet marks the first phase of the Sahara AI ecosystem's development. In the future, Sahara AI will introduce an AI data marketplace and a model center, further promoting the tradability, traceability, and decentralized collaboration model of AI assets.

It is reported that Sahara AI previously secured $43 million in funding from investment institutions such as Pantera Capital, Binance Labs, Polychain Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Samsung Next, promoting the development of decentralized AI.
