According to a recent report released by Bitfinex, Bitcoin's price could surpass $200,000 in the coming years, especially in 2025. Looking ahead to 2025, analysts believe that due to the continuous inflow of institutional funds, Bitcoin's adjustments will remain moderate. Moreover, since 2024 is Bitcoin's halving year, historically, the year following a halving usually accompanies a bullish trend. Analysts noted that in past cycles, Bitcoin experienced minimal corrections after entering the price discovery phase. For example, in 2017, the maximum correction was 33.2%, while in 2020, it was 27.1%. Therefore, as prices rise, Bitcoin may experience short-term corrections, but the long-term bullish trend will continue.

Bitfinex analysts further predict that if Bitcoin follows the pattern of the 2021 cycle, prices could peak at $339,000. However, if Bitcoin experiences diminishing returns like in 2017, by 2026, its price may stabilize around $290,000. This suggests that while price fluctuations may occur in the future, Bitcoin's long-term growth potential should not be overlooked.
According to Bitfinex's analysis, Bitcoin is expected to continue rising in 2024 and 2025, with optimistic market expectations for its future.
