According to Odaily, a recent survey conducted by Emerson College has revealed that approximately 19% of American voters have engaged in investing, trading, or using cryptocurrencies. The survey, which was conducted between December 11 and December 13, 2023, involved 1,000 registered voters. It highlighted that nearly 40% of those who use cryptocurrencies have also made purchases with them.
Spencer Kimball, the Executive Director of Emerson College Polling, noted that cryptocurrency users tend to be younger and come from more diverse minority backgrounds. This demographic trend underscores the growing and diverse political support base for cryptocurrencies. The survey also found that 57% of cryptocurrency users have a favorable view of former President Donald Trump. This data suggests that the cryptocurrency community is becoming an increasingly significant and varied group within the political landscape.
