According to ChainCatcher, executives in the digital asset industry are joining executives from technology companies to meet with U.S. President-elect Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Kris Marszalek, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com, met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Monday.

According to a person familiar with the matter, the two discussed appointments related to the crypto industry, including the Treasury Department, Congress and the incoming administration. The person familiar with the matter said they also discussed appointments related to Bitcoin reserves. A spokesperson for Crypto.com said, "We look forward to working with the new administration to develop and advance clear regulations for the crypto industry so that the United States can become a global leader in digital assets and innovation."
