⚡Ripple launches RLUSD: DLT money on⚡
Ripple finally launches its #stablecoin RLUSD today, backed by USD. This move represents a significant turning point in the transition to digital money, in terms of liquidity and the speed of cross-border transactions.
RLUSD will be issued on both the #Ethereum blockchain and XRPLedger. Initially, it will be available on selected global platforms, with plans to expand to additional platforms in the coming weeks.
The company will hire an independent auditing firm to create certifications of the reserve assets of #RLUSD, which will be published monthly.
