Upbit, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in South Korea, announced that it has listed a new altcoin.

Upbit made a new listing for altcoins that lag behind the trading volumes of major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). This altcoin was Mocaverse (MOCA).

In its official statement on December 16, Upbit announced that it started listing MOCA at 08:00 TSI. According to the exchange's statement, MOCA deposits can only be made via the Ethereum network. It was also emphasized that transfers should not be made from other networks.

MOCA will start trading in Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT) and South Korean Won (KRW) pairs. Following this listing, investors will be able to trade in MOCA/BTC, MOCA/USDT, and MOCA/KRW trading pairs.

The price of MOCA coin showed a huge increase after Upbit's announcement. MOCA increased by 347% in just 20 minutes, from $0.094 to $0.421. However, there was a slight pullback later and it is currently trading at $0.233.
