ChainCatcher News, there have been interesting developments in the Bitcoin market recently! According to Cointelegraph, long-term Bitcoin holders (wallets holding for at least 155 days) have sold 827,783 BTC in the past 30 days, a phenomenon that has garnered widespread attention in the market. CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler pointed out that the average number of 'shrimp addresses' (wallets holding less than 1 BTC) currently stands at 323,000, and is expected to rise to 351,000, an increase of about 8.67%.
It is noteworthy that the growth of shrimp addresses began when the price of Bitcoin reached $61,000, at which point the metric was around 265,000, and has since grown by 21.9%. This data suggests that although long-term holders are reducing their holdings, retail participation seems to be on the rise, indicating a complex dynamic in market sentiment.
