The UK Prudential Regulation Authority stated: "This will provide information for the work of the UK Prudential Regulation Authority and the Bank of England regarding crypto assets, helping us calibrate our prudent handling of cryptocurrency risk exposures and analyze the relative costs and benefits of different policy options."
