BlockBeats reported on December 12, according to CoinDesk, that based on documents recently submitted by Microsoft to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, only 0.55% of shareholders voted in favor of a proposal to include Bitcoin (BTC) on the company's balance sheet.
This proposal was submitted for shareholder voting on November 10, proposed by the National Center for Public Policy Research in the United States, suggesting that Microsoft allocate 1% of its total assets to BTC as a potential hedge against inflation.
BlockBeats reported yesterday that Microsoft shareholders voted against the Bitcoin investment proposal.
