‘a.k.a. What will save you, our shared Bitcoin’

From the perspective of currency attributes, Bitcoin indeed cannot fulfill its role. But it must be acknowledged that crypto wants to achieve some disruptions, but disruption has never been an easy task. Sometimes it requires leveraging all powers, whether that power is good or bad. Ever since the SEC approved the listing of Bitcoin spot ETFs, Bitcoin has gradually become a plaything of Wall Street capital and politicians, far from its initial mission of becoming a 'decentralized currency'.

But from another perspective, the media effect triggered by Bitcoin's price breaking $100,000 has already allowed crypto and decentralization to successfully enter the mainstream public eye.

Behind Bitcoin breaking $100,000 lies not only the power of the decentralized community but also the forces of many other interest groups, including the Wall Street capital that decentralization aims to disrupt. It’s hard to say who leveraged whose power.

From the perspective of crypto, this is a successful marketing event for 'decentralization' completed with the help of capital. But from the perspective of capital or politicians, it might be a different story.

Crypto is still very immature. But many of its proposed innovations and ideas, such as decentralization, sovereignty, and privacy protection, are issues that society must take seriously.

Leveraging development, or to put it more bluntly, serving 'evil', should be a prominent characteristic of the crypto industry. This distinct feature should trace back to the progenitor, Bitcoin.

The idealistic decentralization of Bitcoin is supported by a very primitive token incentive. The earliest mainstream applications of Bitcoin were also through black markets and illegal activities, including the later infamous ICOs, and even today's memes.

‘Justice’ or ‘evil’ may be a group of synonyms.

The crypto industry is very interesting; there are idealists who want to change the world, and there are those who just want to exploit the industry for profit. What’s even more interesting is that these 'bad actors', who purely seek to deceive through the industry, inadvertently promote the growth and development of the industry through their misdeeds.

Even the memecoins, which have a foul reputation and have grown wildly due to human greed and the current social capital system's corrupt loopholes, are to some extent an expression of 'financial nihilism', or even a form of 'anger' and 'rebellion'.

There is always a voice in the industry calling for authenticity and to develop in an orthodox manner. But behind orthodoxy, one cannot ignore the laws of the world's operation. Human nature's greed, desire, and dissatisfaction—these 'evil' words are a form of natural selection, the driving force for humanity and society to evolve and continuously progress.

It is intertwined with survival.

Sometimes, defeating evil requires you to become more evil than evil itself. But what exactly is evil? Or rather, what kind of evil is more evil? After witnessing the packaged righteous figures in the Lolita Island incident, blatant 'evil' seems to be more straightforward than the veiled justice.

Another more important question is how to understand 'evil'.

Or rather, behind the world's progress, we should consider how to integrate, parallel, or balance.

And this is exactly what crypto wants to accomplish:

‘to build a reliable distributed system on top of unreliable infrastructure’

In this, perhaps 'evil' and 'justice' have never been opposites, but rather a group of synonyms, relying on each other to achieve completion.

Perhaps crypto can serve as a vessel for 'evil' and 'justice' to advance together.

Does logic really exist?

The development of many things is hard to explain through logic, especially when what the public deems absurd becomes a reality.

But what exactly is absurd or ridiculous? What is logical?

Do things that seem logical truly make sense? Are some seemingly absurd things really ridiculous? What force is driving the development of the seemingly absurd?

For example, some may feel it's ridiculous to view tokens as money. But from a tax perspective, treating the chain as a country and tokens as money makes sense, as it involves why fiat currency can become a universal currency. Scholars believe that the reason fiat currency circulates widely is due to its form of taxation.

And do things that seem logical truly make sense? Or does this logic still fit the current scenario? For instance, must currency necessarily have the three functions of SoV, UoV, and/or MoE? Does the account need a stable currency as the unit of valuation? What is the meaning of SoV? Will the future SoV still take the form of currency?

Or is crypto necessarily decentralized...?

Have we overlooked something more important?

I don't know. But I believe we can't just focus on TPS, UX, DX, composability, or even decentralization. That’s why I like Cosmos, and why I like Anoma; the basis of Cosmos is Sovereignty, and Anoma's starting point is reconstructing collaborative mechanisms—hence it proposes 'intention', which is the pivot of human cooperation.

But I also feel that a straightforward approach is hard to genuinely solve problems; being too focused can make people overlook the 'gifts' that 'God' sends you, and these gifts often come in misunderstood forms, much like memecoins, which require us to experience them without bias.

Yes, I am saying we need to feel 'evil'; there may be the key to unlocking the puzzle hidden there.

Is some accuracy important? Yes. But compared to other things, it seems not so important.

Sometimes, these difficult-to-explain things are often referred to as 'art', or 'intuition', or 'impulse', and this often conflicts with rationality. If not handled well, it can sometimes be interpreted as 'foolishness'.

But this is a more powerful energy that bursts forth from within.

Humans are products of rationality and logic; humanity stands proudly at the top of the food chain because of thinking, rationality, and logic. But do not forget those primal impulses that support our existence; they have facilitated many meaningful moments in our lives, and they are precious, so please cherish them.

To some extent, the spirit of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies contains a great primal impulse, and it is highly controversial. But the controversy also represents that it has many affirmed aspects. Perhaps there are many scams dressed in the guise of idealism, but you must admit that its original intent and vision are benevolent and upright. For the new forces wanting to complete a disruption despite facing immense resistance, you must grasp every power you can hold on to.

When the main road is blocked, you have to 'walk the crooked path'.

Is some accuracy important? Yes. But compared to other things, it seems not so important.

When tools and resources are outdated and cannot keep pace with the development of other forces, how do you catch up? The only choice is to ignore the rules and not hit the brakes. Ride the wind, grow in mistakes, and continuously correct the path.

Some see negativity, but you must know that this is power; all you need to do is harness it.

I understand the development of crypto as a monster that devours all powers without hitting the brakes.

But this monster always has an anchor, or a vision.

It's hard to describe what this vision specifically is, but you know this vision will guide crypto, becoming the helmsman of crypto in the muddy/chaotic and foggy times, leading the direction.

Sometimes you don’t need to understand the existing rules; just push for the right things.

How to save you, as the bearer of hope, Bitcoin, which carries the expectations of crypto.

Bitcoin has already accomplished its mission when it broke the $100,000 mark. Although it is the enlightenment and faith of the entire crypto space, it now seems to have only its scarcity left. Because the decentralized chips have not been well distributed, it is hard to say whether it will ultimately become a plaything.

And if Bitcoin ultimately becomes just a plaything of capital like stocks, then from the perspective of crypto, it would have no meaning.

Originally, I thought there should be a new and fairer token/NFT or any form to commemorate Satoshi, to commemorate Bitcoin.

But I think Bitcoin will always be Bitcoin; it cannot be replaced by any token. What we should do is initiate a plan to save Bitcoin.

Enlightenment should not be forgotten, nor should it be reduced to a plaything. No token can be more symbolic than Bitcoin. And symbolism is never something trivial; it is very important.

What does this have to do with all of us?

We have been trapped in a helpless set of rules for too long, to the extent that we have forgotten we are also the most solid part of this society.

The description of the vast majority is usually 'a rabble'. It seems that 'a rabble' is merely a group that is deceived and used or that can only produce negative effects. But each 'rabble' has its own moral compass inside. Don't let reality and rules swallow your inner justice benchmark. Don't let yourself truly descend into 'a rabble'.

What kind of world do you want this world to become? The will of each individual is very important for this question. Because it is the foundation for forming a strong force. What we need to do is to maintain this foundation, so that even if other stakeholders leverage it, the final benefits will still be composed of our shared vision.

In the end, I wish we can create miracles.

I also wish for the world, wish for us to have the courage to face our true selves, wish for us to become increasingly resilient, wish that all living beings can find that moment that lights up their lives, and wish that all living beings have autonomy.
