#MajorAirdropWatch Several organizations engaged in digital assets, including the Blockchain Association and the DeFi Education Fund, have sent letters to Senate lawmakers opposing the renomination of Krenshaw.
In a letter to Senate Banking Committee leaders Sherrod Brown and Tim Scott, the Blockchain Association stated that Krenshaw's position does not align with the court's ruling and the goals of Congress.
Chief Legal and Political Advisor of the Crypto Council for Innovation, Ji Kim, also supported these concerns. Kim stated that Krenshaw 'has not demonstrated the objective judgment required of agency heads.'
Krenshaw's current term expired earlier this year, but she continues to serve in an interim capacity that may last until 2025. The Senate Banking Committee, led by Sherrod Brown, has scheduled hearings to consider her renomination.
