Reflections After Failing to Follow the Trade
I am really sorry that this trading session caused everyone to lose a lot of money. I feel a deep sense of guilt, and I sincerely apologize for the trust everyone placed in me.
Looking back at the 10th, why did we lose so much? There are two main reasons:
First, I did not stick to my original trading strategy.
The platform lowered the leverage from 5 times, and I couldn't resist changing my trading strategy. As a result, on the 31st and 32nd, I was only making about 5% and 3% daily, which is far from what I used to achieve. I felt anxious, leading to more frequent trades and heavier positions. By the morning of the 10th, when the market fluctuated, I was fully invested and almost faced liquidation (although I didn’t, many friends who followed me did, and it really hurts). Now I’m still fully invested, unable to move, feeling like a sheep waiting to be slaughtered.
Second, position management was not in place.
I had encountered significant market fluctuations before, where drops of 15% or 20% were manageable; the system would make up for it, and losses would come back. But this time, I didn't manage my positions well, and when the market fluctuated, I ran out of bullets, which put me in a very passive position.
Of course, there are many other reasons; I can only say that in front of the market, I am still too inexperienced.
These past few days, I have been both pained and reflective. I have decided to resume trading, returning to my previous strategy with 20x leverage, carefully managing my positions, and starting over.
I believe that after falling once, I can get back up again.
