The report emphasizes that due to factors such as low bank account ownership, lack of traditional banking infrastructure, and high transaction fees, cryptocurrency adoption is rapidly increasing in emerging markets such as Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. TRON has gained a first-mover advantage by issuing TRC20-USDT with no withdrawal fees and low transaction fees, quickly establishing a foothold in emerging markets.
In the field of stablecoins, TRON's performance is particularly remarkable. The report shows that in November alone, the monthly transaction volume of stablecoins on the TRON network exceeded $500 billion, a figure that far exceeds other blockchain networks like Base and Solana, even comparable to traditional payment networks like Visa. Among them, the transaction volume of TRC20-USDT accounted for the majority, with a year-on-year increase of 42.8%. These transactions mainly came from everyday users, reflecting the increasing application of stablecoins in daily life and the actual demand in the real world.
