What is Movement (MOVE)? The third project on Binance HODLer Airdrops
Movement (MOVE) is a blockchain project built on Ethereum, functioning as the first Layer 2 network using the Move programming language. This project aims to improve the scalability and interoperability of blockchain applications, with a secure and efficient infrastructure for developments in decentralized applications (dApps).
MOVE was released with a total supply of 10 billion tokens, of which 2% (200 million MOVE) was distributed through an airdrop program for users who participated in holding BNB in Simple Earn products. This project not only emphasizes security but also provides tools to support the development of the blockchain ecosystem such as Movement SDK and Fractal.
Binance listed the MOVE token and opened trading with several trading pairs such as MOVE/BTC and MOVE/USDT on December 9, 2024, right after launching its HODLer Airdrops program.
