Binance announces partnership with PicPay to offer a new alternative for deposits in Brazil. Starting today (12/9), PicPay’s millions of users will be able to use their balance in the app to top up their accounts with the brokerage with local currency to acquire crypto assets.
Cryptocurrency adoption has been growing worldwide and in Brazil, and access to fiduciary channels for withdrawals and deposits is a crucial element for the expansion of the industry. With the new partnership, Binance increases the alternatives for deposits on the exchange - which include transfers via Pix and TED and credit and debit cards - and continues to expand the financial solutions offered, ensuring customers access to the best tools and services available on the market.
New alternative and more convenience for users
"The partnership with Binance aims to bring more convenience. Binance users have another alternative to make their deposits with the same app where they can resolve their entire financial life", says Marcelo Marques, acceptance and acquiring executive at PicPay.
“Binance maintains a primary focus on the user, and improving their experience within the platform is a priority for our team. Partnerships like this allow investors to have another alternative for efficient and intuitive access to the cryptocurrency ecosystem, reduce friction for new entrants and consolidate Binance’s position in the national market. For cryptocurrencies to play an even greater role in people’s lives, it is important that transactions happen easily,” comments Guilherme Nazar, Binance’s regional vice president for Latin America.
To use the deposit features via PicPay, the user must have an account on both platforms. The partnership between Binance and PicPay was made possible by Latam Gateway, Binance's payment provider in the country.
