IoTeX has reached a strategic partnership with the Japanese IoT platform Jasmy, aiming to promote the popularization and development of DePIN and the Internet of Things in East Asia. IoTeX officials stated that Japan has advantages in the research, production, and market application of smart devices, while the founding team of Jasmy includes former Sony executives who focus on connecting physical devices with the world of cryptocurrency, which aligns closely with IoTeX's strategic direction in the IoT and DePIN fields. With the launch of the IoTeX 2.0 DePIN modular upgrade, IoTeX becomes the only fully chain-compatible DePIN infrastructure, providing strong support for the construction of various DePIN projects. The upgrade of IoTeX 2.0 aims to create a fast track that allows DePIN projects to lower construction thresholds and increase development speed, accelerating the large-scale adoption of DePIN. IoTeX 2.0 is built on the nine core modules required for DePIN development, constructing DePIN infrastructure modules (DePIN Infrastructure Modules, DIMs) including a unified trusted layer, identity verification, off-chain computing, and more, through endogenous research and external collaboration. This marks the continuous expansion of IoTeX's influence in the blockchain field, and its ecosystem is undergoing significant transformation, especially in the area of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN).
