PANews reported on December 3 that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted that all partnering law firms have been notified that if they hire individuals who 'engaged in misconduct' during the previous SEC management, Coinbase will terminate their partnership.

This statement targets the recent hiring of former SEC Enforcement Director Gurbir S. Grewal by Milbank LLP. Armstrong stated that attempting to suppress the crypto industry while refusing to establish clear rules is a form of 'moral misconduct,' and the industry should not continue to support the employers of these individuals. He emphasized that he does not oppose these individuals working in other fields but calls for the crypto industry to jointly resist such hiring practices to express their stance.
