Elon Musk has filed a preliminary injunction against OpenAI, its co-founders and investor Microsoft, accusing the companies of anti-competitive behavior. TechCrunch writes about it.

The petition was filed in the District Court for the Northern District of California. It accuses OpenAI, its CEO Sam Altman, company president Greg Brockman, Microsoft, LinkedIn co-founder and former OpenAI board member Reed Hoffman, and former OpenAI board member and Microsoft vice president Dee Templeton.

Among the accusations voiced in the appeal:

Scaring investors away from supporting OpenAI competitors like xAI.

Profiting from “misappropriated competitively sensitive information” through OpenAI's ties to Microsoft.

Convert OpenAI's management structure to a commercial one and transfer any tangible assets, including intellectual property, owned, held or controlled by OpenAI through its subsidiaries or affiliates.

Encouraging OpenAI to do business with entities in which any defendant has a "substantial financial interest."
