PANews reported on December 1 that Spain's securities regulator CNMV has approved the country's first tokenization license, opening the door for the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA). Ursus-3 Capital, in partnership with Onyze, is the first consortium able to provide such services to Spanish companies seeking to enter the distributed ledger world. Juan Jurado, General Manager of Ursus-3 Capital, stated: "We firmly believe that the tokenization of real assets opens up a universe of possibilities for entrepreneurs, and ensuring legal security for investors is important." Third parties can now sign contracts for their tokenization services.
