Amrita Srivastava, who worked at Binance Holdings from 2022 to 2023, has filed a lawsuit against the company's British division, accusing it of bribery and unfair dismissal. This was reported by Bloomberg.
The document states that she became aware of a colleague receiving bribes from a client "under the guise of providing consulting services." He has since left the firm.
Srivastava informed top management, and a month later, she lost her job.
According to her, she encountered a "chaotic" environment and "pressure to close deals" within the company.
The platform sought to fill the "gap" in revenue after it was revealed that about a quarter of the income from the division's services had previously come from a client linked to Iran, she claimed.
