PANews reported on November 29 that Parity Technologies announced that the key module of Polkadot 2.0 - Elastic Scaling - has entered the testing phase and is currently available for trial on the Kusama network. It is reported that this is a crucial part of the Polkadot 2.0 upgrade, aimed at achieving more efficient network performance and flexible scaling capabilities.
The official statement indicates that the elastic scaling of the Polkadot mainnet version is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, other core features such as Async Backing and Agile Coretime have been successfully deployed.
