Odaily Planet Daily reported that BitMEX Research stated on platform X that the court has rejected the appeal application of "Satoshi Nakamoto" Craig Wright (CSW) against the case with the Cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance (COPA). If CSW wishes to further pursue this case, his only option now is the UK Supreme Court. · After CSW lost the case, the court subsequently issued several injunctions against CSW, prohibiting him from taking or threatening legal action based on his claim of being Satoshi Nakamoto; · Despite the injunction, CSW appears to have violated this provision and has initiated a large-scale lawsuit in the UK against Bitcoin developers and over a hundred cryptocurrency companies. He is suing for over $1 trillion, and in the new case, CSW continues to claim he is Satoshi Nakamoto; · COPA subsequently claimed that this new case violates the injunction, and the case has been suspended until a determination is made. If it is found that the case does indeed violate the injunction, it may be dismissed; · A one-and-a-half-day hearing will be held in London on December 18, 2024, to determine whether the injunction has been violated and whether CSW is in contempt of court as a result. This Wednesday, the judge ordered CSW to appear in person at the hearing. · Currently, there is great uncertainty regarding whether CSW will attend the hearing or whether he will continue to hide in the Far East. In any case, we predict that he will not attend. His absence may be viewed unfavorably by the judge.
