XT.com Suspends Withdrawals After Suspected $1.7 Million Hack

XT.com, a cryptocurrency exchange, has suspended withdrawals due to a suspected hack that resulted in an estimated $1.7 million in losses. The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 28, when PeckShield reported unusual activity on the platform. According to the security firm, the hacker swapped the stolen assets for 461.58 ETH, which is currently held in a specific wallet.

XT.com said the withdrawal suspension was necessary for “wallet upgrade and maintenance,” but insisted that it did not affect user funds. The exchange has stressed that it maintains sufficient reserves to protect users. The situation is currently being monitored, and the price of the XT token has shown no signs of declining despite the hack. Investors are advised to be careful and monitor information from the exchange to protect their assets.
