The court decided to expedite the process of reaching a final ruling in the class action lawsuit filed against XRP that began some time ago, and this came after both Ripple and the plaintiffs agreed that there was no reason to delay the case any longer.

The plaintiffs want the court to clarify its earlier decision so there is no confusion about the final outcome. However, some of the claims against Ripple are currently on hold until the appeals are resolved. Once the appeal on the group’s claims is settled, the parties must request that the stay on the remaining claims be lifted.

The court ruled in favor of Ripple Labs and its CEO Brad Garlinghouse, a positive outcome for them. The trial date is set for January 21, but that could change depending on the appeals process.
