A major study by KRNO, based on the analysis of 8 million DPEs, reveals a system of massive fraud in French real estate.
The figures are overwhelming:

According to notaries, each letter gained in the DPE significantly increases the sale price: +10% between G and F, +8% between F and E. A better rating = a more expensive property!
These manipulations mainly focus on "thermal sieves" which will soon be banned from rental:
