The manufacturer of hardware wallets Trezor recorded a 600% increase in weekly sales amid Bitcoin's ATH near $100,000. This is reported by Cointelegraph.
On November 22, the quotes of digital gold reached record levels above $99,600. On the same day, the company achieved the highest daily volume of devices since May 2023.
Trezor's commercial director, Danny Sanders, explained the surge in demand by a number of factors.
One of them was Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential elections. According to the manager, this stimulated users' interest in self-custody solutions for cryptocurrencies such as hardware wallets.
Sanders believes that the change of power in the White House signifies a shift in the regulatory regime for digital assets in the country and a "transition from a hostile environment to a favorable one".
