Breeden and Arthur Levitt, as a commissioner and staff member. Atkins is seen as capable of crafting an agenda that supports innovation while restoring what is referred to as the 'gold standard,' which many in the Republican Party believe has vanished under the leadership of outgoing chairman Gary Gensler. Now that most of Trump's cabinet picks have been announced, the transition team will shift its focus to filling positions in federal agencies, but it remains unclear when these announcements will be made.
