Kraken, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, will shut down its NFT marketplace on November 27, 2024, to allocate resources to new projects. After this date, users will be unable to list, bid, or sell NFTs on the platform, but can still withdraw their assets. The NFT marketplace will fully close on February 27, 2025.

Kraken representatives stated that the decision was made to focus on new products and services, including some undisclosed projects in development. Users have been informed of these changes, and Kraken’s team will provide support to help them transfer their NFTs to a Kraken wallet or a self-hosted wallet of their choice.
