Uniswap Labs stated that v4 has undergone nine independent audits and a security competition with a total bounty of $2.35 million, with no severe vulnerabilities found so far. However, the team hopes to further ensure the security of the protocol through additional rewards to avoid attacks while handling daily transaction volumes in the billions of dollars.
The reward amount is graded according to the vulnerability risk score, with 'critical' vulnerabilities earning a maximum reward of $15.5 million, 'high-risk' vulnerabilities $1 million, and 'medium-risk' vulnerabilities $10,000. Reports must be submitted within 24 hours of discovery and kept confidential until the issue is resolved.
