According to Techub News and reported by The Block, the team behind Avalanche launched the 'Avalanche9000' upgrade on the Avalanche testnet on Monday, which includes multiple technical improvements aimed at reducing the cost of deploying blockchains by 99.9%. These improvements include the community proposal ACP-77 (to make Avalanche Layer 1 validators more flexible) and ACP-125 (aimed at reducing the base fees of Avalanche by 96%).
Along with this upgrade, the Retro9000 was also launched, a $40 million grant program aimed at rewarding builders who develop Layer 1 blockchains and other tools on the Avalanche9000 testnet.
