The Crypto Guru
Normiga had always been the tech-savvy one among her friends. One day, she declared, "I’m going to be a crypto millionaire!" Naturally, her friends laughed. “Crypto? Isn’t that just internet Monopoly money?” they teased.
But Normiga was determined. She poured her savings into a cryptocurrency called MoonCheese, a coin that promised to “launch you to the moon…literally!” The website had a rocket animation and a picture of a smiling cheese block in a spacesuit. It looked promising enough.
Every day, Normiga checked the price of MoonCheese. One day, it skyrocketed by 120,000%. Normiga couldn’t believe her luck. She ran to her friends, waving her phone. “I’m rich! MoonCheese is going to make me a legend!”
“Sell it!” her friends shouted, but Normiga shook her head. “No, no. This is just the beginning. Next stop, MarsCheese!”
The next morning, Normiga woke up and checked her portfolio. MoonCheese had crashed. The once-promising coin was now worth less than a stale cracker. Panic-stricken, Normiga joined a crypto forum and typed, “What happened to MoonCheese?!”
A reply came swiftly: “The devs... rug-pulled us. Turns out the cheese wasn’t aged, just fake!”
Normiga sighed and swore off crypto forever. But a week later, she heard about a new coin called GalaxyGravy. Her eyes lit up. “This time, I’ll get it right,” she muttered.
And so, the cycle began again.
