Foresight News reported that U.S. District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley dismissed the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) request for sanctions against Musk on November 22. The judge stated that Musk had testified on October 3 and agreed to pay the SEC $2,923 in travel expenses, making the sanctions for his absence on September 10 unnecessary. 'Given the current situation, the court cannot provide any meaningful relief, and the SEC's request is of no practical significance.' Previously, the SEC had sought to declare that Musk violated a court order from May 31, which required him to provide testimony regarding the investigation into his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.
