ORDI price increased by 47% after listing announcement on Binance

The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the listing of Ordinals (ORDI). Against the backdrop of the announcement, the price of the token soared by 47% - from around $7.5 to $11.

An asset with a capitalization of ~$228 million ranks 159 in the CoinGecko rating.

The listing was originally scheduled for November 7 at 10:00 UTC. The addition of the token to the platform was then postponed to 12:00 UTC without explanation.

Crypto asset trading will be available in the following pairs:

ORDI/BTC;

ORDI/USDT;

ORDI/TRY.

The possibility of withdrawing the coin will open the next day, November 8.

The exchange also plans to add the ORDI/USDT instrument for margin trading.

The platform warned that the token is “relatively new and poses a higher-than-usual risk.” The coin will be assigned a so-called Seed Tag, indicating significant volatility of the financial product.

Previously, mining pool Binance announced the launch of Ordinals Inscription Service. The solution makes it easier for users to create Bitcoin NFTs.
