$XLM $XRP $ADA French users have been restricted from accessing Polymarket, with the prediction platform's website operating in "view only" mode, according to The Big Whale journalist Gregory Raymond. The blocking comes two weeks after the French National Gambling Authority (ANJ) launched an investigation.

The regulator's attention was drawn to a local trader nicknamed Theo4, who placed a bet of more than $30 million on Donald Trump winning the US presidential election. According to Polymarket, his net profit was around $19 million.

At the time of writing, there was no official statement from the betting platform or ANJ.
